I really love Prince of Tennis! I thoroughly enjoy how they give the characters their own special shots - almost like superpower - and how they make every match almost like a battle.

a 12 year old tennis protege comes to a new middleschool. Considering that the oldest males are in 9th grade, it was kind of disturbing to see romance going on between girls and guys, they are still kids, hahahaha. A really cool storyline and I intend to keep on reading.

I've noticed that I tend to really like the sports manga and anime that I've read. I will be getting volume 2 of this one as well.

ryoma has just entered a school and started showing his skills at tennis, but the higher up class students are picking at him but fail. Ryoma is still holding back.

As always, these books are a joy to read, even if I haven't read one recently. I think this is mostly because they're low on plot and high on action. It translates well (literally) to the tv, and I enjoy watching the show almost as much as I enjoy reading it. Plus, the drawings are fantastic -- and as a fan of tennis, there's no way I wouldn't enjoy this.½

More of the same--exciting story continues...will Ryoma earn a spot on the school tennis team?

I still feel "manga-illiterate" but do admit to enjoying POT. Popularity is certainly there!
