An easy piece of WH40K fluff if that is a thing for you. Especially by the third book some side characters start to warm up, especially Sven. So, in parts a bit stupid and silly but fun if you are into 40k fluff.
I've read and enjoyed some of the short stories in this collection's version of Trollslayer so it was a pleasure to come across some that I hadn't. Good fun, well written, especially the ones where dramatic tension and Felix's sheer terror come across convincingly. I was less enamoured of the humourous story 'The Mark of Slaanesh', but when mixing the two styles in 'Ulric's Children' it worked well.
Skavenslayer is presented as short stories, but it's a novel length story arc. Some are better than others, the final story is probaby the best, with the Plague Monks story the least entertaining, being a bit generic. Felix's character is developed by now, but I prefered him less confident in his abilities or his own decision making. An everyman is always more entertaining than a hero!
Daemonslayer is pretty great, a proper adventure, some excellent moments, especially towards the end in Karak Dum.… (plus d'informations)

Fascinating insight into one of World of Warcraft's most legendary characters, filling in the gaps between his escape and his fall in Outland. Also gives some food for thought for the next expansion, and a lot of information about demon hunters.
