What a great book! This really has a lot of great games in it perfect for entertaining large groups of children such as a gym class or summer camp group. I'd highly recommend this book to Abby physical education teacher.

*I received this book from a Goodreads Giveaway. The review is my own, honest and unsolicited.

Hope this lives up to its awesome cover. So often they sadly fail to .....

This book is a collection of trivia related (loosely, in my opinion) to brilliance. The author discusses historical and contemporary figures in U.S. history and their foibles and flashes of insight. The book is a series of short anecdotes, usually funny and mostly interesting.

We got this as a gift for friends who moved to Portland, and after flipping through it I got so interested that I read it. It consists of eighborhood by neighborhood descriptions of interesting and historical architecture, woven with stories about Portland's history and colorful citizens. A school teacher with a history degree, the author has a dry sense of humor that I really like. Lots of pictures.
