Not bad, not great. Ketley is best at examining the French air arm through the defeat of France, and then covering the so-called "Armistice Air Force" through the collapse of the Vichy regime. This is before wrapping up with examinations of French pilots serving with the RAF and the famous "Normandy-Nieman" Regiment on the Eastern Front. What there is virtually no coverage of is French fighter units in the West, post-Vichy. This topic could really stand to be revisited, with one booklet being devoted to the "Armee de l'Air" and the Armistice Air Force, one to the Free French Air Arm, and one for "Normandy-Nieman."… (plus d'informations)
