This book is perfect for the Star Wars lover. In fact, I have a friend who it is absolutely perfect for. The focus is on Rey through many moments found in "The Force Awakens" "The Last Jedi" and "The Rise of Skywalker." Princess Lei, the Porgs, Luke Skywalker....all make an appearance. I love how the soft illustrations add a more human touch to familiar characters as opposed to overt Disney representation.

It's kind of a trivial book. Yes, we all get it that they is no one quite like "you." I get it. That's why I gave it 3 stars.… (plus d'informations)

This new, all-ages picture book is based on the new @starwars: Young Jedi Adventures show on @disneyplus and @disneyjunior, which takes place during the High Republic. Written by Caitlin Kennedy and featuring concept art for the show by Betsy Bauer (@betsybauerart), Andy Bialk (@andybialk), Elsa Chang (@elsesketch), and Rebecca Nelson, the story highlights themes of teamwork, friendship, bravery, and the importance of asking for help when you need it. A fantastic book for Star Wars fans of any age!

“Star Wars OBI-123 Galactic Basic Edition” is a “Star Wars” book for children, albeit a bit of a mishmash. There’s a “Star Wars” counting portion of the book, with young readers as the intended audience. And then there are the “Star Wars” number poems, definitely designed for older children as the words are too complex for young readers and the attention span required for reading the twenty poems is likely to be far beyond that of most young children. However, the book is likely to remain a favorite on the child’s bookshelf as their reading skills develop and they abandon the simple counting in favor of the more challenging poetry.

Nevertheless, “Star Wars” fans and parents alike will find much to appreciate in this book. The colorful “Star Wars”-themed illustrations are delightful and parents will appreciate the opportunity this book provides for them to share their love of “Star Wars” with their children.

This book is a special edition for Kohl’s Cares.

Recommended.

The pictures are cartoon versions of the Star Wars characters and creatures, so they are not too scary for a beginning reader. Unlike many other counting books, this book counts all the way up to 20. This book would be very appealing to young Star Wars fans.
