This is one of the best books I have ever read.

Oki is fishing when a terrible storm hits.

When it is all over his island is gone.

As he searches for another island he finds that the people are different from those on his own island.

They have strange ways unlike his ways.

And he is told "for the safety of all you must go."

So he set out to find another island...

"As he searches for home, he discovers islands both strikingly similar and strangely different from his own; people and places that challenge everything he believes to be true."

SO AMAZINGLY GOOD!
A FANTASTIC JOURNEY!

I received this book as an early reviewer. This was such a nice, refreshing book. Based on the Parables of Jesus in the Bible, these stories leave you such a warm, comfy feeling. I enjoyed the authors tone and appreciate how he made Jesus and the other players in the parables relate-able. I would read more from Kenny Kemp. Nicely done.

The coming of Jesus signals the end of the old testament ways and the dawn of love and forgiveness, as seen in the parables, especially the return of the prodigal son. A simple story, good for kids.
