I really wanted to like this story because I love fairy tales, but it seemed to me that it was more based on Disney movies than on classic fairy tales, which is fine but not my thing. Admittedly I only read a third of the book but it was a bit confusing that the characters of different fairy tales/movies were thrown in and it didn’t seem smooth at all.
The main character was really unlikeable - as were her friends - and I just couldn’t get into the story. It seemed all quite forced and a lot of scenes weren’t very plausible. On top I really didn’t get why she hated Adam so much, but maybe I would have found out a more understandable reason than what was given.
Maybe I will try another book of the series (I do love fairy tales…) but this one just wasn’t for me.… (plus d'informations)
