This isn't what I would classify as romance since it doesn't have the typical steam. Yet, I would call it romance because it a story about love and soulmates. It is going from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.

I loved the twist on Johnny and Cash and who they were supposed to be. I felt the connection between Rawson and Oath. It made me smile when she hot in his head. Then there was Issa. My heart hurt for her knowing she could never have what her soul wanted. It was a relief to know that Cupid had other plans.

Refreshing read with a supernatural twist.

First I should state I won an arc in CoHos fan friday. This book is not for the faint of heart, and it isn't your mama's romance. This book deals with a woman named Ashton who has the most horrific past. As a result she has anxiety,PTSD, Panic Attacks, and OCD. While it doesn't give many blow by blow accounts of her past, it does talk about it enough that it should be okay for people with this issues, just use caution.
Ashton is was big mess, and she is trying to just live day to day. Whats so hard for her is when she has a new neighbor move in, and he in turn is intrigued by her, having no idea that she really has issues that prevent her from in her words "being normal". Lincoln is her new neighbor and he struggles to understand what she has been through, going so far as to let her in on his past, which was a mess in his teen years.
They come together through thick and thin, and really form a bond as he tries to help her recover her sense of self. This is heart wrenching and well researched and thought out. There are no glib one liners or anything that screams that the author is not most sincere about the issues that plague her characters.

Another amazing read from Alora Kate. I do love her writing, and her words. Ki and Alexa are perfect as friends, it like you have known them your whole life. Alora's characters and story are well developed and very well told. There is hilarious banter between characters, and you feel right at home. This story is told in dual pov, more from Ki's pov, but it is dual. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up soon as it's released.

Loved this story even more than the first in the series. This is Alexa and Tappers story. It took a while for me to warm up to Alexa, to me she was standoffish and not likeable, but you get to see why she is like she is, and you peel back layers and you start to understand her. I loved Tapper from the beginning, I don't know what it was, but yeah, he is pretty awesome. You get to revisit the characters from book one, and I always like that. Alora Kate has a writing style that just makes you fall in love with a story, and captures you. This is a definate read. Told in dual pov.
