Hiro Kanagawa

This is a play about family and heritage and clashes of culture. Rita and Alfred and their adopted Aboriginal son, Wolf, live in an isolated cabin which sits on Reserve land. The land was leased to Rita's late father and, with his passing, the Band wants the land back. The dialogue takes us through the challenges faced by First Nations youth, middle aged parents facing their own shortcomings and family secrets. I found it a gripping story.
