The central character of this novel, Trent Corbett, becomes outraged whenever he sees Facebook posts showing African big game hunters with the animals they’ve killed. He decides to do something about it. Trent starts hunting down the hunters and kills them in their own neighbourhoods. The local police, headed by Chief Avery Johnson, become aware of the local serial killer and unite with other small town police forces to stop Trent, who calls himself the Predator’s Predator.

This is a thought-provoking book. Trent is a complex character unlike most serial fictional killers: his actions are based on a moral position.
