Not the best cat care book, although I am at a loss to name one that is better. Some of the information was too basic to be of any use. Other information was too general to be of any use. There was more information than necessary on the subject of cat toys, but not enough about the illness that my cat suffers from. And no, it did not take me nearly a year to read this. I put it aside and finally decided to polish it off and get it off that shelf.

She does have products she prefers to others, is an advocate of open litter boxes, refers to readers as "Cat Parents" and there is a certain assumption of America as default, but apart from that it's not a bad read, I'm only sorry I didn't get my hands on it earlier than 1 year into the bit of a mess we're in.
Worth reading to remind yourself how to cope with a multi-cat household.

Didn't help much. Beatrice still bites the shit out of me.

Very useful book for cat owners. Has training tips, tips for cats with special needs, medical knowledge, travel tips, and so much more.
