Tales of a Wildflower by Amelia Jane is a tiny book with an entire journey inside. The mixture of poems and other short narrative pieces span a range of emotions from heartbreak to healing.

You might be tempted to read it from cover to cover in one sitting, and it would probably take less than an hour … but you would lose much of the essence of this work.

Her words encourage you to linger, re-read, savor … seek their meaning or application in your own life, or even just say, “Yes, I know this feeling!” Even after I had finished the entire book, I dipped back into it to re-read favourite pieces.

One of the things I particularly liked was that, even though the author has an Instagram page where many of her shorter thoughts appear, her book is not merely a collection of these snippets, but rather a well thought out volume.
