Ronald H. Isaacs

In this introduction to the study of Jewish texts, Rabbi Ronald H. Isaacs guides students in the reading, investigating, and questioning of talmudic and midrashic materials. This new family haggadah has activities, fun facts, and a humorous cartoon frog to engage young Seder participants. There are “Think About” prompts that are designed to encourage intergeneration discussion. There are also several nice touches, such as suggestions for a vegetarian Seder plate (substituting a beet for the bone), and the replacement of the traditional somewhat judgmental “wicked and simple” sons with gender-neutral “defiant and uncomplicated” children.

A must read funny story about the perfect love match for Farmer Kobi. It’s full of animal jokes, animal noises and just plain fun reading. A good book for the library. - Karen S.

A listing of stuff to do to help had mitzvot into your life, however I am not really sure what the purpose really was. Is it to just give a taste of them (which is what it does?). I was hoping for Tzedakah project ideas. :/
