Sadie Robertson Huff has done it again! Anyone already familiar with her work need to read Live on Purpose, it is, in my opinion, her best. If you are unfamiliar with the author this is the best place to start!

Live on purpose is a 100-day devotional that begins with verse followed by the devotional. Each of the devotionals span a few pages in length and are written simply, and elegantly, making this book impossible not to love and a must have for any shelf.

Highly recommended! Live on Purpose is a perfect collection that could not be more relevant than it is today.

Thank you so much to netgalley and publisher for providing an e-copy in exchange for my honest opinion. I am proud to spread the word about Live on Purpose and I hope you do the same!

3.5 stars. I have to say that I'm impressed by Sadie's candor and maturity, despite her youth. I know that makes me sound old, and honestly at thirty-*cough* years old I didn't get much from this book. I do, however, see how this could be a wonderfully uplifting and challenging book for teenage and college-age women. Sadie is honest about her experiences, she's well spoken, everything is biblically sound, and I was impressed by some of the research she did. Without giving too much away, I've been inspired to look up plankton and learn more about them! I was also inspired to consider her point-of-view as I raise my own daughter in the coming years. I may come back to this book when my daughter is older and I start seeing her battle some of her fears. This book is a sweet gift, especially for those navigating normal fears and anxieties about growing up and facing a harsh world. I would recommend this to my teenage nieces, as well as any other young women I know. Thank you for sharing your heart, Sadie. Keep it up!… (plus d'informations)

I found myself surprisingly impressed with this book. Having never cared to watch Duck Dynasty, I really did not know much about the Robertson family or even the fact they were Christians. A friend lent this to me to help me with some personal things, and given how young Sadie is, I was a bit skeptical. However, Sadie provides a lot of unique wisdom and insight. Though she adds her own personal experiences, which definitely are more aligning with teenagers, the bits and pieces of wisdom provided could be applicable for all ages. Her writing is a bit disjointed and the transitions from one thought to the next was a bit distracting. That being said, I definitely found myself taking pictures of certain pages so I could continue to study and focus on them. My favorite chapter in particular was regarding the plankton analogy. She definitely has a heart for Jesus and is trying to find creative ways to pull people in, which I admire.… (plus d'informations)
