The presentation of this book is excellent. The contents are even better. Through simple games of unscramble the jumbles, the authors reinforce names, stories and bible passages. You always have clues to help you unscramble the words and after that, for most of the puzzles, you are suppose to do a second level of arrangement of letters to figure out an answer to a proposed title or finding who the mystery person is, or playing detective and find an answer to a proposed question. You also have some Criss-Cross puzzle and Find The Word type of puzzle, also based on unscrambling words. Every single game is based on bible characters.

Overall this is an excellent entertainment that will keep you busy or will make an excellent gift for a Christian person. You have a combined total of 200 puzzles of all the different flavors (usually 25 of each kind, with the exception of the first type that you have 75). It took me an average of 5 minutes to solve each one. My daughters (14 and 12 years old) stole the book from my hands and they played for more than half an hour before I could recover it and they were able to solve some of the puzzles much faster than myself…

I find that puzzle books are excellent companions on long road trips, keeping my boys minds and hands occupied for hours on end. How delightful to find a puzzle book that reinforces Bible teachings!

"Bible Jumble for Kids" kept my boys interested, entertained, and inspired on our last road trip. Their responses were, "this is cool," and "can you buy more of these?" ... aka, a thumbs up reception from my 7 and 9 year-old.

What I like the best about "Bible Jumble for Kids" is that my children were learning more about the Bible and keeping their "melons" sharp, without even realizing it in the midst of their puzzle fun.

"Bible Jumble for Kids" contains six different types of Jumble word puzzles (a total of 200 fun puzzles,) each including lessons related to Bible scripture.

Although I am a huge fan of newspaper puzzles, I have often felt a lack of stimulation when doing puzzles that come to me in paperback form. They are usually either extremely easy, [boring!], or so abstract that only Einstein or Freud could reach the correct conclusions!

I was pleasantly surprised, however, when I cracked open Inspirational Zingers Jumble by Christopher Hudson.

You know those wonderful 'Jumble' puzzles that you get in the national newspapers, that contain a secret message when you have finished the entire puzzle? Well, with Hudson's book, you can enjoy those popular puzzles while being encouraged by inspirational thoughts when you obtain the message in the end!

I've carried the book around with me for the past several days, and have found the puzzles quite addicting! I've worked them in between client research; while on hold on the telephone; during commercials while watching television in the evening; and even during a well deserved quiet time in the bubble bath!

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy working puzzles. They aren't so difficult that you need assistance to solve them, and yet, they each and every one offer you a moment of enlightenment when you solve the final inspirational quote.

I give this book five [5] stars! *****
