Walt Holcombe's Things Just Get Away From You is a collection of his comics spanning many years, and reveals a major talent that is often willfully obscure, but occasionally brilliant. Holcombe's solid, cartoony line is wonderfully beautiful, and if his narrative impulses are not always so easy to comprehend, there's always the stunning artwork to fall back on!
