John Hinchey

This analysis of Dylan's 1960's poetry is worth reading just for Hinchey's exhaustive knowledge of and sheer delight in his subject - not to mention the pleasure of his own idiosyncratic prose. I don't agree with Hinchey on everything - perhaps even on much (sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, a train is just a train, a gate is just a gate!) - but oh the joy of reading him! Come on Hinchey - there's four more decades waiting for you!
