The manual is clearly written with many diagrams and pictures to refer to as the new owner of the Nikon 32oo figures out his or her camera. Author Alan Hess displays dozens of the pictures that he's taken with this camera to describe its features and capabilities. This manual is so much more valuable and informative than the original Nikon manual that came with the camera.

Decent intro to concert shooting. Good stuff on getting a pass, publishing your work.

I have gotten three iPad how to books for the Amazon Vine program the last few months. This by far is the best one to date. Hess takes the time and effort to move your bare bones iPad from useful to indispensable.

He has step by step instructions on how to use each and every program that he talks of and that is needful for some. The iPad of course is greatly intuitive, especially for the group that first started with an iPhone. And even though the operating system is on the verge of changing, Hess seems to be ready for this.

The real key though is that Hess did not stop and just leave us with a manual that only addressed the Apple ecosystem. He also delved into apps to make you a true aficionado of the device. Road Warriors used to be the term for those who mastered laptops. Using this book is a way to become a tablet warrior.

The only place where this might have grown to be better were to include more information about more apps that have risen to challenge Apple's ecosystem with similar programs since there are now 200,000 apps available (that of course means it would be a daunting task.) Hess talks briefly about styli, disses Notes applications (which I use) and leaves the door closed about cases for protection, film screens, keyboards, speakers, the other peripherals that if someone would write about, in addition to the way Hess covered all that he did, would finally give a manual of the iPad universe. As it is, this is worth getting for those who want to be better with their iPad and need a guide to get there.
