DNF (did not finish). There isn't enough to this book to keep my interest. I tried, I got to 28% in, but I still just don't care about the MCs or their world. What emotion there's been is primarily confusion smothered in duty and deliberate holding back, and it's boring. After reading a few of the low star reviews, I see I'm not wrong that this never really gets better. This had potential to be a rich story, but stays in the shallows.
