HOLY THRONE.

What an adventure. A ride. A rollercoaster. From start to finish. Wow.

At the end of the third book, Maalik is killed - after him and Jez come together to forgive each other and be one again. ( Thank God ). And after all of that emotion, he's gone. And it will hit you hard. This book is about Jez and the war that is now here on Earth within Light and Darkness. Who will win?

But what a huge adventure from the first book until now. I won't give much away, but I'm so glad that the ending was the way it was. This was an incredible read and I'm glad to have gotten the chance to read this series. I would love to have maybe a small update on everyone involved and how they are doing in that time. I wouldn't want anymore drama, lol. Just an update on how my favorite angels are doing.… (plus d'informations)

OMG.

Okay. This might have some spoilers and I apologize in advance to anyone wanting to avoid those; THIS IS THE WARNING.

I hated that Jez and Maalik were no longer together. And then when Liz arrived and Maalik knew her, I hated that more. And then when they got together - UGH. That killed me.

But something kept me continuing, knowing that Maalik and Jez were soulmates and would find themselves back together. Somehow. In the second book, Maalik found out Jez was the reason that his family - while human - had split up and he said he hated her and would never forgive her. In this book, Jez is reeling from all of that guilt and then seeing him move on without her. While also moving on with learning to be a Guardian and continuing to be Light and good. Again, Tamara really is good with the flushed out characters and the plot is good. I have to find the last book and read it. I have to know how this ends.… (plus d'informations)

After reading the first book, I had to continue in the series. I was given the opportunity to read the first one for free in exchange for my honest opinion, but I bought the second book to continue it.

Jez has now moved on in her studies - choosing the Light and all that is good. You can tell she's really grown, but is still struggling a bit. Maalik has been an extremely good influence on her and you just fall more in love with them both.

Jez, though, really wants to experience human emotions and is given the chance to go down to Earth to experience these emotions. I really love that even though she's struggling, she's still Light and learning. I did find myself with the same problem as in the first book - there were a lot of slow or over-done parts where I wondered why it was needed. I also hated the last few parts of the story. You'd have to read to understand, but it really killed me. I will continue to read the series, to find out what happens.… (plus d'informations)

This is an extremely interesting book. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book, but was so glad that I stuck with it.

I love Jez. I don't want to give too much away, but I feel like when you read this, you'll understand. She's incredible and a strong character. And Maalik. Whew. I'm in love. Tamara is really great at flushing out the characters - major and minor. I love that about this book.

I do find that part of the book was just slow; and I found myself wondering if it was really needed for the story. But I realize this is part of a series and possibly could be useful in a sequel or later. I won't fault that if it's useful later. But I love the drama and the rollercoaster of good vs evil in this book. I'd recommend.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
