Hambrick gives a humorous, child-friendly way to share your faith. The interactions of the boys at camp yet the respect with their counselors were entertaining, but respectful. The boys knew their boundaries and didn't question authority. That's when the struggles began---working within the boundaries given them. I liked the notions of respect, what one camper's dad would do if he even considered doing such and such, and what he'd better do to avoid his father's displeasure. These weren't oppressive boundaries, just a statement of his father's love and care….So many children books are missing these elements today. Thank you.

The boys have requested to read this several times. Always brings their laughter.

I loved this series when I was young!

This is a great book with a great message for kids. It was intersting and funny, and one that I really enjoyed when I was around Junoir High age. In my opinion, this one was the best of the series. Great salvation message without being preachy, and a good book for helping kids gain interest in reading.

A good enough missionary biography. The second half of the book is much stronger than the first, which seems awkward in places. I was actually surprised, since I have thoroughly enjoyed Hambrick's well-written Arby Jenkins series.
