Some chapters were of great interest to me, while others were too long and covered topics that were not important to me. Lilias writes well, and I enjoyed her command of the English language. I read Haggard's autobiography, and this biography by his daughter provided information not found in her father's account of his life. I suspect (and hope) that other HRH biographies will be more informative and interesting than this one.
