This is a tough one to rate. 5 stars for importance socially, historically, and politically and as a reminder of how terribly African-Americans have been treated in the United States. 0 stars for this even having to exist...

Horrible. Bravo to Mr. Victor H. Green for creating a guide to help people in such a hate-filled time. Boo to the short amount of listings in this guide. Only 48 pages in total, only 2 columns in my home state of California.

This isn't really a book to read, per se, as it is a listing of places to stay and eat. It is a book to think about, reflect on, and remember the ugly truth in U.S. history. As true in 1940 as it is today. Thank you Mr. Green!… (plus d'informations)
