Despite our ever-increasing knowledge of medicine, with all the improvements in surgical procedures, medicines [albeit most of the new ones have the ability of creating new medical conditions]; the brain is still an enigma which is yet to be understood in its entirety. It’s little wonder that this author’s own experience with a severe closed head injury exposes the lack of any decisive code of behavior when it comes for a patient’s rehabilitation, both physically and mentally.

The cognitive activity of the brain is such that any substantial injury to it can easily cause some of the initial manifestations to remain with a patient for the rest of their life, such as is the case with the author, Verwayne Greenhoe.

It probable it took a lot for Mr. Greenhoe to write and share this record of his forever lifechanging journey in the hopes it might enlighten his readers knowledge regarding the lack of knowledge out there, even it the best of medical facilities when it comes to brain injuries. And for sharing this honest, and at times poignant story, I’m giving this book 5 STARS.… (plus d'informations)
