When I started reading New Sion I wasn't sure I was going to like it due mainly to the fact that there are four main characters and they are split into two different happenings far away from each other but as the story progressed I really warmed to the characters, especially Finn and Eamon.
Finn a woman pretending to be a man to get by but by doing that she is actually breaking all laws, meets Eamon a bounty hunter when she shoots a few men and she agrees to go with Eamon to take the bodies in and collect the bounties which are a pretty tidy sum.
Her identity is discovered by Eamon when she is shot but he does not mind.
Jor from Krell crash lands on New Sion with his Princess and shortly afterwards she is kidnapped by raiders, Jor makes it his duty to save the Princess from the raiders clutches and travels to find the secret Krell base. After travelling for a long time and not finding the base yet he meets Finn and Eamon and they work together to find the base and save the Princess.
There is romance, fantasy, science-fiction and so much more to this book. I am glad I continued with it, it was well written and an enjoyable read.

I have read a few of Diana Green's books and I was really looking forward to reading Dragon Wife as it is different from what I had read before from her. I had never heard or read of Dragon Shifters before. I loved the characters, the plot and it was all so well detailed that I was completely hooked and I was actually in the book.
I do not want to give away too much hence why I have not written about the storyline but it is fantastic and very well written. A great start to the series and I look forward to reading book two.

I enjoyed reading this immensely. You are immediately pulled into the story, and you won't want to put it down! You'll find yourself cheering on Karene on her quest to find a happy, steady life, free from the horrors of her past that threaten to destroy all she has found. I recommend this when you have time to get lost in Karene's world, and follow her along on her myriad adventures, along with the charming Mr. Thorne.
