D. J. Goodspeed

From 1862 to 1979, this has been one of Canada's front line infantry regiments. It fought in all our major conflicts and always aquitted itself with honour. This book is a key stone in any Canadian Military library.

Intended to give young adult readers an easy and interesting biography of Sir Isaac Brock, this volume gave me a compact summary of the early events of the War of 1812. Having just been to a reenactment of the battles around Fort Erie near Niagara Falls, it clarified those earlier battles for me. This is a quick, easy read and inspires one to seek out a more scholarly work on Brock.
