This is an excellent guide to learning to read the siddur. Grammar and vocabulary are not taught; rather, a "sounding out" way of reading is taught. Once this slim volume is mastered (which only takes a few hours), one should progress to the ArtScroll interlinear siddurim, that, while very right-wing, tells you EVERYTHING about davening and the meaning of each word. This is a timeless volume that I am proud to learn from.
