The last volume of Interiorae is an intriguing send-off for this series, leaving plenty of unanswered questions, but bringing things to a satisfying resolution nonetheless. Gabriella Giandelli has a densely beautiful approach to her lines, and the widespread use of dark spaces does not detract from the quality of her images, but rather serves to highlight the important but elusive elements of her fable of dreams and their impact on the lives of the dreamers. Overall, Interiorae is a great example of how much comics art can achieve if creators are willing to stretch beyond the obvious.… (plus d'informations)

In this third volume of the Interiorae series, Gabriella Giandelli begins to bridge the gap between the waking and dream worlds of the inhabitants of a nondescript apartment building. The central character of the ghostlike rabbit comes into sharper focus, even as the lives of the human inhabitants seem to be heading in a thoroughly more chaotic direction. Giandelli's simple but lively artwork remains a treat for the eye, and with indications that there is yet one more installment to go, Interiorae may yet prove to be the crown jewel of the Ignatz Series.… (plus d'informations)

Interiorae remains one of the most interesting stories within the Ignatz Series from Fantagraphics Books, and this second volume begins to draw even stronger contrasts between banal daily life and vivid dreams than we saw with the first installment. The "Great Dark One" resident in the basement of the apartment building where these events transpire remains an enigma, but Giandelli really does appear to be going somewhere interesting with all of this, so I eagerly look forward to future volumes.… (plus d'informations)
