This book is about a little girl who is tired of her boring old pets. She goes to a pet shop to find soemthing more interesting and comes back with a wood eating monster. At first she's happy feeding him small pieces of wood but eventually he eats everything in her room including her wardrobe! She takes the monster back to the pet shop in exchange for a little egg and she goes home. The End.
