These are going for 80's video nasty feel. This one is like Creepshow in that it's 3 seperate stories all introduced by a strange man driving an elderly couple who have had a breakdown. Very Twilight Zone.
Indie horror mag done right
This is a nice collection of stories from authors mostly new to me. All of the stories were good, dark and creepy stuff, and some of them were great! I now have new authors to follow :) Unnerving has done an awesome job with their first issue, and I look forward to checking out the next one.

I am a little late to this party (TBR list is serious this year), but this issue was worth the wait. Perfect mix of emotional dark fiction with a few informative nonfiction articles, including a helpful piece for writers. The stories are the meat, each seasoned with its own flavor of heartfelt horror and speculative strangeness. Gut punches and tear jerkers, in the best way. Unnerving always introduces me to authors I had no idea I loved, and this issue is no exception. It is my favorite indie horror mag!… (plus d'informations)
Hetty by Eddie Generous is a horror genre book and has a chilling vibe where the plot is set in an abandoned school. The author has done a commendable job in writing a twisted and dark horror story. I liked the plot and climax which opens a way for a sequel. I would award 4 stars to the book as I was little bit confused at the end. But, the book is worth a one time read. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me an opportunity to read the book.
