Overall rather a disappointment. Some nice ideas, internet history and curiosities but poorly organised and under edited. The arguments/narrative set up in the early chapters are not really carried through convincingly.

Extremely excellent, and written by a guy who clearly is comfortable with the new culture he's talking about. A lot more-pleasant to read than some of the stuffier game studies people out there. Provides some great ways of thinking about gamic actions and about the interrelationship between games and movies and vice-versa.

Recommend it to any and all New Media people.
