Three teenagers skip school for the day.
It's weird that this movie is as entertaining as it is. It's a comedy without any exceptionally funny jokes. Most of its charm relies on Matthew Broderick, who is usually a charisma vacuum. The most important couple of scenes are played as serious drama, while the rest of the movie is cartoonish. But somehow it all manages to come together.

Not interested in the wanna-be sexual escapades of teen-agers. Foul language also turned me off. Could see why some people like it though. Didn't like those guys in high school when I was there; no interest in watching them now.
One of the funniest movies-- EVER! Especially funny for teachers and administrators.

Different from most of the films we see, but very well done and recommended to older teens and adults.
