I had heard versions of a few of these before, but I cannot say any really stood out.
A collection of Jewish Tales recast into a modern world, translated from a variety of Jewish writings
Unlike the other version of this work, which had more fairy tale elements, this collection is a lot more biblical. Religion plays a very key role in this collection, and there's a definite emphasis on being moral. As I remember, I liked the other collection better than this one.
