Albert J. Fredman is an award-winning professor of finance at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in finance and investments. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from UCLA. Previously, Fredman was an associate professor of finance at Loyola University afficher plus of Chicago, and he has held professorships at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and the University of Arizona. He is a prolific writer of articles on finance topics, especially mutual funds, options, and futures. George Cole Scott is editor and publisher of The Scott Letter: Closed-End Fund Report, and an investment adviser who specializes in closed-end funds. He has been an investment broker since 1969 and a freelance writer since 1965. Scott became interested in closed-end funds in 1976 when he joined the board of Bergstrom Capital, a closed-end fund based in Seattle, a position he continues to hold. He is affiliated with Anderson and Strudwick, a NYSE firm based in Richmond, Virginia. afficher moins
