The book begins quickly, slows down in the middle and then ends on a high note of future possibilities. I especially like being mentioned in the beginning of the book. Most interesting is that the Books’ middle section, the slower read part, actually covers the amazing experiences had by people in critical situations- or even while participating in sport events- which is aptly titled “Molasses Time” . Molasses Time is that phenomenon when Time seems to ‘stand still’- when you can see the car accident coming, the baseball being pitched, the vase being dropped in what seems to be slow-motion. Many people have reported this experience with ‘Molasses Time’ and it is very interesting to speculate it’s meaning within Time itself.
Lastly, the book has been translated into many languages, read around the World and now, after years, not on our Library shelf. You know the collection’s got to keep up and newer books on intuition have come along since this Tarcher release hit the stores. Still it’s worth the read and thought provoking. Franque
(I gave this book 5 stars on the basis that the idea of teaching intuition in schools I think most socially worthwhile-and Sharon's my sister!)… (plus d'informations)
