For a book about rock n roll, it is not really a rollercoaster of a book. The perspective is from a Camden son of a boxing trainer who grows to become a favoured bodyguard in the rock n roll industry, joining the crews for Bad Company, Led Zepplin, Sheena Easton and Bon Jovi. About a quarter of the book deals with his youthful years which is most interesting. Some parts of his biography are quite heartwarming. With the help of Paul Elliot, a music journalist, the book is a well written, easy read with gentle humour and ruminations.… (plus d'informations)
