I thouroughly engoyed this book. This is a biography, not an imagination of what life would have been like. This explaines where she came from, the route she took - and suggests reasons why. I admit that I knew little, to be honnest nothing, about the first woman into parlyment but I feel that this had been changed. For a country which took so long to agree to let women vote, that still has few female MP's, I was surprised by how early she appears in parlyment but then the initial idea was that she would not stay.
just read to book - it is worth the effort.… (plus d'informations)
