I definitely think some of this book is dated, it has a very Sex and the City mindset. And I don’t know if Marie would write some of this advice today. A lot of it is common sense (don’t be negative about yourself, don’t have set ideas about men, lead an interesting life so you are an interesting woman) but some of it, especially the chapter about looking good I found pretty cringe.
It’s definitely a motivational read and I enjoyed Marie’s style of writing. I think the audiobook could be a great listen. It’s a little light on actionable guidance and advice, but if you want a pick me up read, this is a good choice.

Don't get me wrong, there's probably plenty of good advice in here for people in a different situation than me. But it just wasn't resonating with me. Her advice was typical of what you see for people who "don't have time" or "don't have money" and it just felt repetitive. I'm not familiar with Forleo's podcast or TV or whatever ... I just recently saw this eBook on sale and it sounded like an interesting concept. Glad I didn't waste too much money.
I give two stars because it wasn't for me, but there's probably some worthy info for others in here.… (plus d'informations)
