Functional JavaScript: Introducing Functional… par Michael Fogus

If this was my first FP book, I would absolutely love it. It explains most of the themes in a clear and approachable maner.
But since it wasn't I was bored all the way untill chapter 6 - still it was worth reading.

The Joy of Clojure: Thinking the Clojure Way par Michael Fogus

Fantastic overview of Clojure that gets down into the nitty-gritty of why the language is structured the way it is. Provides great example code, too. Not exactly a reference, not exactly a tutorial, it lies somewhere between the two. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Lisp (what?) in a Java environment (why?).
