Probably my favorite movie. Excellent cast, screenplay and film editing.
Immortal people want to kill each other for some reason.

Most of the concept is just a lot of arbitrary "this is how this works because I said so." But I kind of like that sort of thing. The plot, though, of "these people need to kill each other, and then they do, the end," is just... why? Why is that all that happens in a two hour movie?

Can't believe this film is nearly 30 years old. It's still a great film. I have seen it many times before but it still pulls you into the mystery and the tension as everyone hunts the sub.
Dal romanzo (1984) di Tom Clancy. Al comando di un sommergibile nucleare sovietico nel suo viaggio inaugurale, il capitano Raimus (Connery) cessa di obbedire agli ordini della base: vuole disertare o scatenare una guerra privata contro gli USA? Thriller marinaresco qua e là confuso, ma sostenuto da un ritmo e una suspense impeccabili, da una splendida fotografia e da un Connery di buona annata. Oscar per il montaggio degli effetti sonori.
