This book has over 500 pictures with Spanish/English words for each one. It includes a pronunciation guide to aid in speaking the words. The categories of words includes some of the following: Household items, family, body parts, food, school, animals, and groceries.

The pictures in this book are very engaging in their details. I particularly like the spread of "family portraits" that depict a all the members of the family, with the baby tugging sister's braid and everyone else looking on with a smile. It is cute.

A teacher could use this book with early education classes, particularly if some of the students are not primarily English-speaking. It would aid them in acquiring some new English vocabulary, and the English-speaking students would be introduced to some Spanish words. Older students could use this on their own as a reference book to look up particular Spanish words for translations.
