A story I enjoyed at the start, mostly because I'm a sucker for stories involving amnesia. However, most of the book was too repetitive and tedious for me. And the ending was somewhat anti-climatic.

I would have given it a 3 rating, but there were far too many awkward phrases and grammatical errors in the book, and too many incorrect words, such as experimenting instead of experiencing, prey instead of pray, or quite instead of quiet. The second half of the book had more instances than the first half, as if someone started proofreading and then gave up. It just became a frustrating effort to even finish the book...

This is a really interesting concept about heaven and hell. Edge of End is about people who have done something bad and they are on the edge of Hell. Will they continue to Hell or will they go back. Jonathan wakes up in the desert not knowing who he is. He sees a town and goes there. It seems vacant but he soon realizes it is full of evil. He meets Malcolm who has half a face and Elizabeth who is in one of the houses. Jonathan must either go into the light to go back to his body or go into a house and go to Hell. Which will he choose. What is his destiny. I'm glad I haven't done anything really bad in my life because I sure wouldn't want to end up in this town. Some of the grammar is a little choppy but that is understandable since English isn't Suren's first language. Not a bad book. I did enjoy it.

I want to thank the author Suren for sending me an electronic version of this book.

A really thought provoking novel which will make you think a lot about how you react and behave to others. The story begins with a man lost in the desert and his only way out of it is to head for the town. On arriving in the town he has no memory and has visions, each vision prompts thoughts of his past. He then meets a lady and a mentor who has been stuck in the town since he had died. The main character then realises that he has one last chance in the town to prove his worth before he is cast into hell.

The book is very well written and uses the town and houses in it as the problems and the hurt the person has caused and to get through and redeem themselves to be given another chance.

The message that I picked up from this interesting novel was why wait till it is too late to put things right, face and tackle the problem and move on. The outcome of tackling the issue may not to be your liking but at least it has been dealt with, giving you the freedom to tackle the next one with a clear insight and making the correct decision.

A thought provoking novel which is very cleverly written around an issue that we all think about on a daily basis.

I was given “Wrath of Michael (Shade of Light #2)” by author Suren Fant in exchange for an honest review. I have read a couple of books already by this author and he never fails to put a controversial spin on religion.
Before you read this review, I do want to warn that this is book will spark some controversy with anybody that is religious. This book by no means reflects my views on Christianity or the Bible. However, I do enjoy a good book and this is exactly what this is.
*****
In the “Wrath of Michael” we are viewing the world through the eyes of the archangel Michael. The world has populated and the people are sinning in the eyes of the Lord. Michael still has an obsession for Lilith that he is willing to go against the Lord’s ways to be with her. He doesn’t see what he is doing as sin. Yet he watches the humans and judges them on their ways as sinners.
Archangel Samael is worried that without accepting the help of God’s army, heaven will fall. Michael is torn on how to protect what God had created. Does he focus on The Garden of Eden or does he protect the golden gates of heaven?
In the mean time, Lucifer is busy building his army. He is desperate to bring down the creation of God and rule both Heaven and Hell. Will Lucifer allow for harm to come to his beloved Eva? Will God step in an assist with the battle of battles that is about to take place? Will the humans survive this battle of good vs. evil?
*****
I normally write a lengthy review on all the books I read. However, it’s hard to say much when the book is only 80 pages long. If I say too much, then most important part of the book will be given away. Then what is the purpose of reading?
As I said earlier, I do enjoy a good controversial book. Mr. Fant has done a fantastic job creating dialog between the angels that makes you feel as if it actually took place. He also handles the sex very tastefully. For some, this could be a huge turn-off; however he does it to where you don’t feel weird for reading it. There is little sex, but enough to add a little spice to this story. Since this story is about how Lucifer fell from the graces of God, it is important to understand what is driving the dark angel.
I can’t wait to read more of what Mr. Fant pens. He so far has done a fabulous job in this series.

This is a short story, a quick read. It is an interesting take on Creation, Adam and Eve, and I especially liked the portrayal of Lucifer. I was impressed with the fact that this story was originally written in another language and then translated into English. It has a few errors, but very few. I enjoyed it.
I was given a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

The synopsis is what grabbed my interest at first. Something before the time of God and Satan. How interesting! Another that peaked my interest was the cover of the book. The way it is spilt in two differnet perspectives.

Aren is, as one would put it, special. After ending up in a car accident and being able to heal at an incredible rate, Aren relaizes that his life is about to take a ride. And this ride is one that isn't always fun. For Aren, I think with him being followed and hunted by forces that hold the same pwer that he does leaves him in a predicament that no one would want on themselves.

This book is filled with a lot of twists and turns that will leave the reader wanting more. Filled with both biblical and un-biblical references that book proves to be an interesting tale. So readers, come check out this book.

I give this book 4 souls!
