An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its lovable and varied characters. Again another enjoyable addition to this delightful series.

This is Edward Gardiner's story, the younger half-brother to Mrs Bennet of Longbourn. When Gardiner the merchant is in Derbyshire on business he rescues an injured youth, Matthew, while out walking one day. Little does he know how his life will change as he employs Matthew in his business.
A very enjoyable well-written prequel to P&P with some delightful characters

Priya is reading Emma but is concerned the way the story is unfolding. Expressing her thoughts aloud changes the story, but it all unfortunately goes wrong. Can she get the story back.
An enjoyable modern story

11 May 1812 Events have led Mary Bennet to leave Brighton and Lydia and arrive at Highbury, Surrey. Here she is staying with the Woodhouses when she hears of a death. The fourth accidental death in the area. Because of another case Alexander Lyons is also in the area. With the help of Mr Knightley they start their investigation.
A thoroughly entertaining and well-written mystery with its very likeable main characters. A very good addition to the series.
