The author seems to lack the basic understanding that cultures and languages change. His biggest insight is that you can't read most of the Bible as word for word absolute truth. I suppose if he can convince some people of this with his pseudo-academic explanations, there is some value in this book. If you have already figured that one out, then this is a waste of time.
A less erudite rehash of Lahmsa, but still revealing.
