Chelsea_K | Dec 3, 2023 | Contains Chapters 1 - 4: This series is a lot of fun so far and I love all the characters! I am really looking forward to the next volume and seeing what happens next.

DoomLuz | 1 autre critique | Jul 20, 2021 | Way too unbelievable. This kept me from being sucked in the story. Gave up after vol. 2 I think

CaliSoleil | 3 autres critiques | Mar 5, 2014 | I thought that some of the plot points seemed a little recycled from volume one. It was still charming, quirky, and amusing enough to keep my attention though.

swampygirl | Dec 9, 2013 | Summary:
Ito is a drama student who is in in charge of the drama club at her high school. She is a tomboy who works hard at what she does. She meets the new girl in class called Makoto. Makoto comes from a different and she is a gorgeous girly girl. Makoto and Ito become fast friends. They both want to join acting companies once they get out of high school. One day Ito accidentally walks in on Makoto changing and finds out he is a boy. At first she freaks out but Makoto tells her that in order for him to be able to follow his dream his father has challenged him to go through high school disguised as a girl. If he is found out then he will have to work where his dad tells him to and marry who his dad tells him too. Ito promises to help Makoto out. The volume ends with the beginning of the school play season.
Personal Reaction:
I adore this series! It is possibly against the rules but I have to share this series with as many people as possible. I read it in high school and through the years I bought every volume. It is a great story. It is cute and with just enough action to not be soppy. The graphics are not the greatest but I like them. Each volume mounts the tension. Girls will be the ones to mainly read them but even for boys it is a good example of action and romance combined.
Classroom Extension Ideas:
1.Make kids draw or create a story about what they want to do when they grow up.
2.Have them write a story about their best friend and what they would do if they had to keep a secret like Makoto’s.

ShelbyStancil | 3 autres critiques | Mar 28, 2012 | W-Juliet fufilled my favourite manga/anime theme of crossdressing, but was a bit, er, too girly and lovey for my usual tastes. I still think I'll read it, but only by wincing a bit at the shoujo.
