A beautifully produced, and lavishly illustrated presentation of an academic thesis on the different approaches to symbolic and illustrative art and how culture and technology is shifting both perceptions and participation. It’s heavy on academic theory and approach so takes a little adjusting to. I found it something I had to consume in small chunks over an extended period of time, giving myself time to absorb the ideas presented between sittings. But if you have any interest in the theory and science of art, or its cultural impact, then it’s well worth a read.… (plus d'informations)
