After thirty pages of flash-backs and info dumps, I gave up when the Admiral sent a twelve ship fighter squadron to attack an enemy fleet at light speed and didn't follow for eight plus hours. Uh-huh.
din păcate nu m-a prins și am abandonat-o. Probabil problema e că nu începe cu ceva military, ci mai degrabă politic, iar scriitura/dialogurile nu m-au impresionat.
Okay, 90-plus pages into this one I've decided to call it DNF. The one-star rating is my code for "I can't read this"; it's not a judgment of quality, the book is competently written. Just that the premise, heavily researched, seems to be that all the alien contact conspiracy theories are actually true. And presumably after our hero sits through chapters and chapters worth of history, something is going to happen. (Oh, and Einstein proved that space and time are the same thing.
