The Siege of Quebec and the battle of the Plains of… par Arthur George Doughty
This antiquated six volume compendium of primary source documents by Canada's turn of the century Dominion Archivist, A.G. Doughty is a must have for any serious scholar of the French & Indian War, though when Doughty himself trys to write history in one of the volumes, reader beware. Victorian romanticism and enthusiasm are not substitutes for good analytical scolarship. Therefore an excellent source book, but nothing more.
