I may have squee'd a lot while reading this one. The colors popped and we got to see so many characters from the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. The main reason why I gave this just four stars though is that there seemed to be four separate incidents going on during this comic issue. And then we seemed to be popping in and out of the story to jump to the next one. I am assuming the next issue will explain things more. But I am not really happy with the comics I have read so far that seemed to not be laying things out more. I am so missing Hellcat right now.… (plus d'informations)

I have a soft spot for Marvel Cosmic. I think it started with the Micronauts. So I'm pretty excited about this event. Definitely some characters I don't recognize, but I'm liking it a lot and the "Saga" comic really helped fill me on events that I had missed.

See tapestry100's review for a good description of this series. I would add that I found the storytelling a bit confusing and disjointed throughout. There are a number of scenes where neither the writing nor the art helped me understand what was going on. This storyline continues in the Road to War of Kings and the War of Kings graphic novel collections, but I am not sure I will continue with it if this volume is representative of the rest of the series.

Not much to say about this other than it bridges the story from where it left off as a mostly X-Men related story to a much more broad storyline that ties into several of Marvel's cosmic titles.

Recommended only if you're interested in these titles and have been keeping up with the Marvel storylines that are leading into War of Kings.
