Young readers can touch the soft, fuzzy caterpillars as they grow from big to bigger to biggest and turn into beautiful pop-up butterflies in this unique book that introduces children to comparative adjectives.

It’s a simple text, accompanied by colorful illustrations. The three-dimensional fuzzy “caterpillars” and pop-up butterflies will delight the youngest reader and “Three Little Caterpillars” will quickly become a favorite book to be read again and again.

Another phenomenal Animal Planet book for kids who love to learn about animals. This book features animals and how they get around. By starting with where the various animals live, then how their particular body features help them get around quickly or slowly. Children will learn that foxes can run at 45 mph, the basilisk lizard runs on water and doesn't sink, baby elephants travel with their moms in herds, and grasshoppers can travel 3 feet in a single leap.

Again, the photography throughout the book is amazing and the small "bites" of information and facts sprinkled on the pages is enough to engage and interest the child to keep reading. There is a lot to learn about the wide variety of animals in this book. It's perfect for lower elementary to middle-school students.… (plus d'informations)

I enjoyed reading “In the Ocean” because of the information and the vivid illustrations. I found that the beautiful colors in this book are consistent with the colors of the sea. I know this because I enjoy being in the water and have swam in a coral reef. I found the playful fun facts to be very entertaining, fascinating and insightful. One aspect of this informational book that I liked was the fold out pages that showed more pictures and showed large animals that when drawn to scale would not fit on the page. One of my favorite aspects of this book is that each species that was represented in the text was identified and explained to the reader. Also, I found it very interesting to see what each species eating habits were. I love the Ocean and the creatures of the sea and really enjoyed reading this informational text because of the various text features that allude to the readers visual senses.… (plus d'informations)
